Why we do it this way

Delivery work in Gauteng runs on two-wheelers, and almost all of it runs on someone else’s two-wheeler. A driver rents a bike, pays weekly for as long as they ride, and at the end of five years owns exactly nothing. The arrangement works for whoever owns the fleet. It does not do much for the person on the road at six in the morning.

So we built the alternatives we would want to be offered. If you want to own the bike, the rent-to-buy plan gets you there — every weekly payment is a payment towards ownership, and at the end of the term the scooter is yours outright, from R750 a week on a R1 000 deposit. If you would rather not carry the vehicle risk at all, we employ riders on a salary and put you on a company bike, and the fuel, maintenance and insurance stop being your problem.

The third part of the business is passenger transit — pre-booked charter shuttles running the corporate corridors between Sandton, Midrand, Rosebank and Fourways. It is a different vehicle and a different licence regime, but it is the same idea: a properly run, properly insured, properly compliant operation in a market where that is not always the default.
