Passenger transit Charter services, Gauteng

A seat that is actually yours, on a shuttle that is actually coming.

Pre-booked hub-to-hub transfers on vetted 14-seater Quantums and 7-seater Executive Vitos. No standing at a rank, no haggling over a fare, no wondering whether the vehicle is legal.

What a seat costs

Published up front. A Zhap Shuttle seat runs about 65% below an equivalent e-hail trip on the same corridor, because the vehicle is shared and the route is fixed.

How a ZhapZhap trip works

Step 1

Pick your two hubs

Choose a pickup and a destination from our secure park-and-ride network. The map finds your nearest hub if you let it.

Step 2

Reserve your seat

Pay by card, Apple Pay or instant EFT. Cashless, because cash at a boarding bay makes a full vehicle a target.

Step 3

Board with your QR

Your pass is saved to your phone and works offline — useful at Nasrec on a match night, or during load shedding.

Where we pick up

Every ZhapZhap hub is a secure, access-controlled park-and-ride. We do not pick up at the roadside.

Why this is legal, and why that matters

Section 67 charter, not a taxi route.

South Africa's minibus taxi industry defends its routes, and rightly expects operators to stay out of them. ZhapZhap runs strictly under Section 67 of the National Land Transport Act 5 of 2009: every trip is pre-booked between private hubs, no roadside hailing, no cash on board, and every vehicle carries a digital passenger manifest with the operating permit, the vehicle registration and the driver's PrDP.

That manifest is what a driver shows at a roadblock. It is the difference between a delayed trip and an impounded vehicle with your delegates inside it.

On board

A named seat
Your seat number is on the pass. Nobody is standing, and nobody is waiting for the vehicle to fill up.
A departure time that holds
Fixed schedules on corporate corridors. Event returns leave 45 minutes after the final whistle.
Wi-Fi on the Quantum fleet
The late-shift commute is dead time otherwise.
Vetted, PrDP-certified drivers
Every operator carries a minimum of R10 000 000 passenger liability cover.
